Earl F. Forister was the youngest of six children born to Henry N. Forister and Elizabeth Branaugh Forister. He was born in Flat River, Missouri and lived in Cheyenne for 47 years, coming from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Earl was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church, Elks, Masonic Lodge No. 1, Wyoming Consitery No. 1, Korein Shrine and Union Pacific Old Timers, having retired as a conductor for the Union Pacific. He married Avis Adamson Forister May 4, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Earl died at the age of 71 after an extended illness.
