Mr. Reiman, 80, of rural Utica, died Sunday (Aug. 17, 2008) at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
Lewis Reiman was born Oct. 3, 1927, in New Effington, S.D. He later moved to the Utica area and worked as a farmhand for Leo O'Meara. He worked as a bull hauler for many years, hauling livestock to South St. Paul and returning with freight.
He enjoyed socializing with friends, especially his dialysis group from Gundersen Clinic.
Survivors include six children, Lewis (Sharon) Jr., of Utica, Cynthia Thorn of Houston, Patrick (Boon) of Clear Lake, Iowa, Leo (Cathy) Reiman of Houston, Texas, Brian (Kimberly) of Marion and Jeff (Tanya) of St. Charles; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ada Reiman of New Effington, S.D., and Bernice Reese of Ortonville, Minn.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
