Mrs. Beulah Claire Porter, 438 W. Foster Avenue, State College, died in the Centre County Hospital Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1958, at 2 p.m. Born Jan. 8, 1890 in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of Oscar and Mary Bella Henderson Borst. She was married Jan. 4, 1913, to George L. Porter who survives with one son, William L. Porter, Drexel Hill, Pa., and one daughter, Mrs. Doris A. Thompson, York. One sister, Mrs. Ben Bodle, State College, and four grandchildren also survive. She was a member of the State College Presbyterian Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Funeral services will be held from the Koch funeral home, State College, Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. William F. McClain officiating. Interment will be in the Centre County Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
