Funeral service for Maurice "Moose" Lee Agens, 74, Riverside Drive, Holly Hill, who passed away Monday, August 11, was held Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, with the American Legion officiating. Interment with military honors followed. Mr. Agens was born in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania, and moved to this area in 1977 from Colchester, Vermont. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he served as a supply clerk and was the past manager for Daytona News Magazine Distributorship. Mr. Agens was a life member of the American Legion Post 120 where he was past commander and finance officer and a life member of VFW Post 1590. He also enjoyed fishing, gambling, traveling and NASCAR. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Debbie; a daughter, Autumn (Chicki) Mills, Holly Hill; two sons, Ty M. Agens, Los Angeles, Calif., and Tod R. Agens, Maui, Hawaii; two brothers, Kenneth L. Agens, Illinois, and Earl Agens, Ridgeway, Pa.; three sisters, Elvira A. Watson, Norwalk, Conn., Delores D. Phillips, Houston, Texas, and Ruth Perkins, Ridgeway, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Amber and Nicholas. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32119
