Son of Mr and Mrs. Andrew Bohnart died at the home of his sister Mrs. Charles McCarthy at Oxford, Iowa at 8:20 am January 15, 1911. Deceased left Lawrence for a visit to his sister at Oxford, IA, December 22, and while there was taken ill. His death resulting from pneumonia after a sick spell lasting some two weeks.
The remains were accompanied to Lawrence by a sister and brother in law arriving here Tuesday evening wher a large gathering of friends had assembled at the depot to offer sympathy and assistant to the loved ones. The deceased son, who was un married was the second son of Mr and Mrs Bohnart and was buried on the homestead where he was born. The furneral services were held at the Lawrence Catholic Church Wednesday Morning.
