CLARION - Russell Leroy McCleary, 42, of Shippenville R.D 1, a World War II veteran
and a dispatcher for United Natural Gas Company, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Clarion Hospital.
He was born at Miola January 2, 1925, a son of Clarence and Lucy Younkers McCleary.
He-was married April 3,1915 to the former Ola Mae Dixon who survives.
Mr. McCleary was a. coach for the Legion baseball team in Clarion and a member of the Clarion Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Shiloh Presbyterian Church at Miola.
Friends may call at the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion from 2 to 4 and 7 lo 9 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Sheldon Logan, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Miola Cemetery.
