Mr. John R. Harvey, 61, of Baldwin, died Monday in a Jacksonville hospital. The Taylor, FL native moved from Jacksonville to Baldwin in 1980. He was a retired agent with Gulf Life Insurance of Jacksonville, a member of Baldwin First United Methodist Church. Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his former wife, the mother of his children, Minnie Leigh Harvey, in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Harvey, of Baldwin, one daughter, Elizabeth (Betty) MacIntyre, Nashville, TN, two sons, John R. Harvey, Jr. Marietta, GA., and Robert J. Harvey, of Baldwin, two sisters, Goldie Elliott, Morven, GA., and Pearl Dugger, Jacksonville, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Baldwin First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Tom Gensel, Pastor, officiating. Casket bearers will be grandsons and nephews. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends at Fraser Funeral Home, Macclenny, 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday.
