OBITUARY
Mrs. Alvah Guy, a resident of Cuba, State of Kansas, being afflicted with heart disease for the past three years, thinking it would be a benefit to her health to visit her old home in Morgan Township, this county, she arrived at the house of her brother, J.R. Ralph, on the 11th day of October. After visiting several of her old friends and neighbors she came back to her brother's on the 27th. She fell from her chair dead, in two minutes after she came in the house. She leaves a husband and four children in the State of Kansas, her youngest being about twenty-five years old. The deceased was fifty nine years of age. We believe her to be fully prepared for that departure; she had years before joined the Free-will Baptist Church and had lived an earnest and consistent Christian life. Her remains were deposited in rest in the family burying ground of the Ralph family.
