Former Wayne Resident, Lindell Armstrong, Dies
A former Wayne county resident, Mrs. Lindell L. Armstrong, 85, of Flora, died at 10:36 a.m Monday, Mar. 31, 1986, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.
Mrs. Armstrong was the widow of John Kenneth Armstrong.
Services Held
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in that town.
Born May 19, 1900 in Wayne County, Mrs. Armstrong was the daughter of Robert G. and Nancy Jane Green Whitson. She married John Armstrong in Fairfield Dec. 31, 1918. Mr. Armstrong died Sept. 2, 1983.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Flora First Christian Church.
The Survivors
Survivors include four daughters, . . . ; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, eight sisters and one grandchild.
