Peter and Ruby Rebecca Alexander, Brank, Miller.
Peter died at the Battle of Kings Mountain during the Rev. War, 7 Oct. 1780. (Gaston County NC)
Rebecca was scalped by the indians but somehow survived her ordeal,however, was not capable at that time to care for her young son Robert age 3. Peters sister Pricilla Brank, Mrs. Col.David Vance, took Robert and raised him until his mother was better. Rebecca later remarried, James Andrew Miller and they removed to Henderson County NC.
