She was born in Kankakee, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Engelke Mitchell Sniegowski.

Her husband, Clyde W. Redman Jr., whom she married on Dec. 23, 1950, is deceased.

She graduated from Bradley High School and was employed by the Bear Brand Hosiery Company, and later by the General Foods Coupon Redemption Center.

As a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and creating quilts for her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her pies. Her kitchen door was always open. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and loved her dogs, Betts, Lady, and Pepper. She enjoyed telling people, when they asked, how she got her nickname, "Bobbie."

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Anna Redman of Brighton, Colo.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Vicki Fender of Bradley, Karen and Mike Harms of Limestone; one sister, Nelda Goodrich of Kankakee; five grandchildren, Rachel Fender of Chicago, Danielle and Brandon Cronk of Kankakee, Courtney Harms of Bourbonnais, Jeremi Redman and Jeredd Redman, both of Brighton, Colo.; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Jackie Milk of Watseka.

Deceased are her parents; three brothers, Donald Mitchell, Shirley "Jimmie" Sniegowski, and Kenneth Sniegowski; and one sister, Lillian Hopper.
