Clarence Albert Polumsky, a retired farmer of Juliaetta, died Sunday of cancer at his home. He was 84.

He was born 9 Oct 1913, to William Polumsky & Lena Mae (Brooks) Polumsky at Peola. He lived and worked in the Peola and Clarkston areas.

He enlisted in the US Army as a cook with the 116th Medical Battalion. He served from 1941-to 1945 in Australia, New Guinea, and the East Indies.

He married Geraldine Richardson on 17 Aug 1945, in Modesto CA. They lived in Modesto. She died in 1974.

He married Aldeana Maria Dias 7 June 1975, in Modesto. In 1977 they moved to Hamilton MT. While in Montana he worked on the Bitterroot Stock Farm. He retired and moved to Juliaetta in 1981.

Survivors include his wife at their home in Juliaetta; a son, William Andrew Polumsky of Corvallis OR; a daughter Alberta Lucille Glass of Coulterville CA; three sisters, Bessie Kaufman of Orofino and Leona Flatt and Wilma Wilks both of Lewiston; two brothers, Andrew (Bud) Polumsky and Don Polumsky, both of Clarkston; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
