Cedar Falls Record, Dec. 10, 1918
A little boy 2 1/2 years old son of Mr. and Mrs,
Theodore Meinders died yesterday afternoon and will be
privately buried tomorrow afternoon, in Greenwood Cemetery on
top of his sister Thelma who died Decemer 5, 1918. four days befor her brother.
the baby girl was buried on december 9, 1918 and when the family came home
from the funeral the baby boy was dead. both children victims of influenza.
The family moved here from Grundy Center four days ago, after comeing here
the whole family became ill and Johanna Meinders sister Sylvinna came to
help with the family in there sickness.
The remaing two children and parents have recoved but the two youngest
children were very sick from the first.
