Services for Elizabeth R. "Liz" Johnson, 62, of 1837 Rainbow Drive, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
She died Monday night June 2 at the Covenant Medical Center-Schoitz Hospice Unit.
She was born May 2, 1924 in Cedar Falls daughter of Theodore and Johanna Wiese Mienders. She married Paul Edgar Baugh May 21, 1946,Moberly, Randolph, Missouri, they were later divorced. She married Lloyd John Johnson August 16, 1965 in Waterloo, Blackhawk Co., Iowa.
Mrs. Johnson was head cook at the Towers Food Service at the University of Northern Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, two sons Steven Baugh of Cedar Falls, and Thomas Griffen Florissant, Missouri; a daughter Lynda Farinella of Elmwood Park, Illinois;a brother Dan Mienders of Cedar Falls; a sister Peggy Watson of Carlsbad, California; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home and for a hour before services Friday at the church.
