She was the wife of Paul Johann Blankenstein and the daughter of Ernst Hermann Kreder and Martha Minnie Hessel.

Mrs. Anna Blankenstein

Mrs. Anna Carie Blankenstein, 85, of Waco died Monday night in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Connally-Compton Downtown Chapel, the Rev. Don Gibbard officiating. Burial will be in Ross Cemetery.
Mrs. Blankenstein was born May 19, 1896, in Ross. She was a housewife and a member of Gerald Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Nix and Mrs. Lucille Petty, both of Waco; three sons, Herman H. Blankenstein and Paul O. Blankenstein both of Waco, and Harvey F. Blankenstein of Longview; three brothers, Herman Kreder of Robinson, George Kreder of Gerald and Alvin Kreder of Leroy; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
