Elsie Marie Allen, youngest daughter of Henry and Katherine Allen, was born March 1, 1907, at the home place near Lucas, Mo. She was married August 22, 1923, to Louis Gregg who passed away December 17, 1932. To this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter, Gerald, Archie, Francis, Edwin, and Neomi. Funeral services were held at White Oak Church, Sunday afternoon, July 11, conducted by Mrs. Walter Barth. The pastor, Rev. G. Fred Gilbert, assisted in the service. The choir sang, "The Old Rugged Cross," "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul."
