Gerald M. "Jerry" Gregg, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 1995, at his home near Warsaw. He was born on June 13, 1924, in Bates* County, Missouri, the son of Louis and Elsie Allen Gregg.

He was inducted into the United States Marine Corps on October 27, 1943, and served his country during World War II. He was honorably discharged on February 1, 1946.

He was employed by Western Weighing Inspection Bureau of Kansas City for 28 years, retiring in office personnel in January of 1987.

On May 16, 1967, he was united in marriage to Frances Radspinner in Warrensburg, Missouri. Following their marriage they made their home in Kansas City until his retirement in 1987 when they moved to their home in Woodland Shores near Warsaw.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Sugar Creek, Missouri and a member of the V.F.W. Post #5925 of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Frances, of the home; one son, Gerald Lee Gregg, of Kansas City, Missouri and three daughters, Susie Langley, of Ft. Lumpton, Colorado, Linda Vickers, of Milan, Texas, and Elsie Thomas, of Kansas City, Missouri, thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Gerald M. "Jerry" Gregg were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 1995, at Reser Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Liebel officiating.

Pallbearers were Robert Nichol, Paul Gregg, Alfred Gregg, Jewell Ware, John Stewart, and Steve Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Herbert Gregg and Charles Boyce.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Warrensburg, Missouri.
