Alva "Al" Veach Jr.
Alva "Al" Veach Jr., 82, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008. He was a resident of Greenwood.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Lois) Veach of Union, Ohio, and Mark Veach of Greenwood; a daughter, Esta Marie (Tom) Ott of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ronald and Carroll (Mildred) Veach; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esta (Buchanan) Veach; his parents, Alva and Mary (Carroll) Veach; and two brothers, Ralph and Lewis Veach.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Greenwood Masonic Lodge 514 will conduct a service at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. July 26 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, with military honors by Knightstown American Legion Post 152.
