As a young girl, she came out to Idaho in a covered wagon to the Prarie and lived there for some time -- later to Featherville, and moving to Bellevue and going back and forth to Provo Utah area to race horses. Some Aunts from back east came out and thought that the girls needed better education so they payed for Thelma, Marie, Carrie and Pat to go to boarding school at St Terrsa in Boise. Marie and Thelma stayed but Carrie and Pat ran away and Aunt Carrie married Clark at that time.
