Funeral services for Ethel May Wales Schrimsher, 76, of Ardmore Homes Apartment, Ardmore, Alabama, were held October 17 at 3 p.m. at the Fairview Baptist Church, Jimmy Clark and Mike McFarlen officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Carr-McConnell Funeral home of Athens was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Schrimsher of Athens and Douglas Schrimsher of Ardmore; seven daughters, Martha Ann Holmes, Barbara Atchley and Joyce Cribbs, all of Athens, Katherine Schrimsher of Ardmore, Charlotte Davis of Killen, AL., Nancy Curley of Georgia and Joan Yarbrough of Harvest, AL.; one brother, Booster Wales of Toney; one sister, Gladys Collier of Athens; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.,

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
