Mrs. Cribbs died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
She was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Limestone County to Hartselle and Ethel Schrimsher.
She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy O. Schrimsher.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Mack Cribbs of Athens; two sons, Keith Newby of Athens, and Ken Newby of Harvest; one daughter, Bonita Schrimsher of Athens; one brother, Douglas Schrimsher of Ardmore, Tenn.; six sisters, Joan Yarbrough of Harvest, Ann Holmes of Athens, Barbara Atchley of Capshaw, Nancy Curley of Huntsville, Charlotte Davis of Florence, and Katherine Schrimsher of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Keith Newby, Ken Newby, Jimmy T. Schrimsher, Todd Schrimsher, Jimmy Cribbs and Darrell Overmyer.
