She married Lawrence Karlin on April 17, 1934 in Ellis County. He died Aug. 1, 1940.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked at St. Anthony Hospital laundry and the Kennedy Middle School cafeteria. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Hays, and was a member of the Altar Society, Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include, one son, Hubert of Stockton; two daughters, Agnes Woodard of Hennessey, Okla., Louise Bieker of Edmond, Okla.; a brother, Dan Dreiling of Victoria; three sisters, Helen Kuhn, Cecilia Schmidt, Tillie Hoffman, all of Hays; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, Father Brad Sterrett officiated; burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Brock's North Hill Chapel, Hays.
