Named "Yesu" at birth; was the father of seven children. Husband of Shirley Alston "Jean" Robinson. 18 granchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. His birth name was Yesu Robinson, he was known by his friends and family for the greater part of his adult life as Bruce or "SU". He was the son of the late Lumas A. Robinson and Ella R. Robinson, He loved his cars and was in the process of buying a Cadillac before he died. He departed this life on July 5, 1998 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey where he resided after he left Wilson. He was a native of Wilson County, North Carolina and attended the Wilson County schools. He was well loved by those who came in contact with him for he displayed warmth, kindness and love.
