After her husband died in 1851 in Almena, Van Buren, MI, she later moved in with her son, Nathaniel in Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo, MI. They then moved to Holland, Ottawa Co, MI. In the 1880 Census taken in St. Helena, Napa Co, CA, she is now living with her daughter Katherine (Kate)Mcgeorge.
