"Tennie Merritt Dies in Hospital
Funeral services for Mrs. Tennie May Merritt, 83, of 813 E. Chestnut, will be at 10. a.m. Wednesday at the Scott Funeral Home, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery, Louisville. She died at 3:15 a.m. yesterday at the Clark County Memorial Hospital.
A native of Graves County, Ky., she had lived in this community for 12 years. Mrs. Merritt was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Carl E. Belver, Louisville, and Earl L. Belver, Cincinnati; three daughters, Miss Marie Belver, Jeffersonville, Mrs. Terry Bolton, of Arizona, and Mrs. Kenneth Foster, Shively, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Weatherton and Mrs. Charlie Peak, both of Paducah; a brother, Roy Rudd, of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
