Peggy Blitch Hartsfield passed away on April 10, 2016, after a long illness, at the age of 86. She was born in Trenton, Florida to Wallace and Ester Blitch. She was long time resident of Tallahassee before moving to Charlotte 3 years ago.

Peggy retired from the Federal Highway Administration in 1988. She was a member of the Tallahassee Garden Club and also a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. Peggy loved her family and friends and cherished spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hartsfield, her parents Wallace and Esther Blitch, her sisters Lois B. Earle, Dorothy B. Singer and Evelyn B. Green and her brother, Wendell Blitch.

Peggy is survived by her brother, W. Ernie Blitch (Marie), her step daughter, Terri Hartsfield (Frank) and many nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends for visitation at Culley's MeadowWood - Timberlane Road Chapel on May 11, 2016 at 11 am and the service will begin at noon. Following the service, Peggy will be laid to rest at Tallahassee Memory Gardens 4037 N. Monroe Street, Tallahassee.

Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home is assisting the Hartsfield Family.
