Born to Thomas and Dorothy (nee Wood). Father of ten children. Married Margery Hoar on March 17, 1640.Minister from Matlocke, Derbyshire, who came to Massachusetts Bay in 1635. First settled in Boston: moved to Braintree MA in 1639. Died in Braintree, 27 Apr 1668 ("Mr. Henry Flint, teacher of the Church of Christ in Braintree").
Married by 1642, Margery (Hoar) Matthews, daughter of Charles & JOANNA HOAR {1641, Braintree} & widow of John Matthews (on 24 May 1682, John Hoare referred to "my brother Mr. Henry Flint of Brantrey." She died at Braintree, 10 Mar 1686/7.
Henry was brother of THOMAS FLINT {1637, Boston}.
