"Mildred A. Gray, 77, of Hillsboro died Wednesday in her residence.

Mrs. Gray was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and pianist. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Hillsboro Harmony Music Club. She owned and operated the B&M Cafe and Bus Station for 19 years until ill health forced her to retire in 1965.

She was born Oct. 9, 1913, in Jackson Township in Fountain County to Ivan and Dottie Myers Allen. She married Emery Gray July 5, 1930. He preceded her in death in March of 1982.

Surviving are a son, Paul L. of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Rudd (Dottie) Bahler of Remington, Ind.; three sisters, Mary Uplinger of Hillsboro, Margaret Divert of Fort Wayne and Anna Stephenson of Lafayette; two brothers, Wilbur of Lafayette and Paul of Wallace; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday in the United Methodist Church at Hillsboro with the Rev. Lance Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call 4-8 pm today at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro."
