Robert Lee Turner, 55, of 5 Berea Heights Road, Greenville, died Tuesday. Born in Pickens County, son of Netty(actual spelling is Nettie) Hayes Turner of Greenville and the late O'Dell(actual spelling is Odell) Turner, he was an employee of Gladding Corp., a World War II veteran and a Baptist. Surviving also are his wife, Zadie Brown Turner; a son, Donnie Tuner of Easley; a daughter, Rita Turner of Mauldin; a brother, James Turner of Taylors; and sisters, Florence Loftis of Albany, N.Y., and Helen Hammonds of Greenville. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel; burial in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church cemetery.
