Born in Easley, Mrs. Turner was the daughter of the late Tom and Alma Brown, and was retired from Stone Manufacturing Co. after 20 years of service. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Don Turner, of Mauldin; one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Tim Brett, of Mauldin; one brother, Jimmy Brown, of Charlotte; one sister, Mary Hendrix, of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Nick and Angela Brett, of Mauldin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lee Turner.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2003, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, conducted by the Rev. Gary Strickland. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, where the family will receive friends Friday, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
