She was the daughter of James and Addie (Newton) Berry. She grew up in McAlester and had lived in this area all her life. She worked as a registered nurse at the old McAlester General Hospital for seven years till her retirement due to disability in 1967. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an expert seamstress. She was a member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russ Keith; three brothers, and one sister. She was a resident of the Paradise community and passed away at her home at the age of 72. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30th, at Brumley-Mills Chapel. Burial will be at Pryor Cemetery in Stuart. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
