Colonel Clair B. Buggy, PA Army National Guard, Retired, 79, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middlesex Twp..
A Korean War Veteran, he was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, American Legion Post 239 and VFW Post 6497,both of Williamstown.
He was born April 8, 1929 in Williamstown, to the late John and Stella Updegrave Buggy. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie Czarnecki and two brothers, Eugene and John.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth I. Rhoads Buggy; a daughter, Beth A. Artz and her husband, Kraig of Camp Hill; a son, David R. Buggy and his wife, Katey of New Cumberland; a brother, James Buggy of Tower City; and a grandson, Hunter R. Artz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., today at his church. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
