Funeral services for Alfred Wesley Larkin, 69, of Peoria will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Christian Assembly Church with Rev. R. L. Goode officiating. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. He died Friday at Methodist Hospital after an illness of five days. Mr. Larkin was employed by Sanitary District of Peoria. He was born on November 2, 1885 in Sullivan to Alfred and Mary (White) Larkin and married Myrtle Wilson on July 3, 1905 in Decatur. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of the home; six sons, Everett Larkin of St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, Rev. Floyd Larkin of Olney, Clarence Larkin of Peoria, Arthur Larkin of Bartonville, George Larkin of Casper, Wyoming, and Charles Larkin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four daughters, Gladys Osman of Lilly, Ellen Taft of Creve Coeur, Marjorie Madison of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Katherine Brooks of Peoria; sister, Mary Brim of Kinmundy; two half sisters, Ella Wilson and Hattie Payne; two half brothers, George Webb and William Webb; forty two grandchildren; and twenty three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, two daughters and a sister.
