Funeral services for Ellen Cecile Burton, 57, of Peoria, who died yesterday at St. Francis Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Peoria Davison Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Colburn officiating. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. She was born on March 29, 1916 in Danvers to Alfred Wesley and Myrtle Azalea (Wilson) Larkin. She married William Russell Taft on November 1, 1931 in Peoria and they were the parents of three daughters. They later divorced. She married Arthur Lee Burton on June 11, 1966 in Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Leta Leona Larkin and Mildred Evelyn Langhoff; and her brothers, Dale Eugene Larkin, Kenneth Paul Larkin, and Melvin James Larkin. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; her daughters, Darlene Marjanovich, Mary Lou Predmore, and Myrtle Marie Stobaugh, all of Peoria; her brothers, Arthur Vernon Larkin of Peoria, Charles Loran Larkin of Enid, Oklahoma, Clarence Wilson Larkin of Park Ridge, Everett Jasper Larkin of St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, Floyd Alfred Larkin of Cadiz, Kentucky, and George Elmo Larkin of Bushnell, Florida; her sisters, Gladys Lillian Osman of Lilly, Katherine Phoebe Brooks of Peoria, and Marjorie Lucille Madison of St. Petersburg, Florida; seventeen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
