Gaylon E. Dickson Sr. age 60, of Gearhartville passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the ARHS Altoon Hospital Campus.
Born February 18, 1948 he was the son of the late Mac R. Sr. and Violet E. Dickson.
He was a graduate of Philipsburg High School and was owner & operator of A-Model Express Trucking Company.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.
In July of 1967 he wed Terry Lee (Heeman) Dickson, who survives at home.
He is also survived by two sons, Gaylon E. Dickson Jr.of Weatherly, PA, and Richard Dickson of China Grove, NC.
He is also surived by two sister and one brother, Liz Straw of West Decatur, PA Donna Harris of Akron, OH, Pat Dickson of West Decatur, PA; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, 1 Son: Stephen Dickson, and 1 Brother: Mac R. Dickson Jr..
Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, PA on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Thumma officiating.
Burial will be in Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 6 until 8 PM.
