Obituary: "Marionville Free Press Thurs 20 Aug 1936
A.E. Ford
A. E. Ford for the past several years, a resident of Marionville died this morning in Kansas City where he had gone for an operation. Mr. Ford suffered a heat prostration some time ago which was followed by an abscess on the brain. The body will be returned here from Kansas City, but funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. He lived west of the city and is survived by his widow and 12 children, 10 sons and two daughters. Other surviving relatives are five sisters and two brothers.
Mr. Ford was born near Protem, MO., Jan 13, 1884. His death was due to a tumor on the brain. Funeral services were held in the Marionville Church (Baptist) conducted by the Rev. R. W. Forbis, pastor. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery (Marionville IOOF)."
