Mrs. Ruthie Mildred "Millie" Hankins, 66, passed away at her home near Bradleyville, Missouri, on July 19, 1948.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Johnson church near Kissee Mills with burial in the Johnson cemetery under direction of the Harris Funeral Home of Chadwick.
Mrs. Hankins is survived by her husband, Stephen Dee Hankins; four daughters, Mrs. Lula Marler and Mrs. Vesta Chandler of Springfield, Mrs. Jane Shaw and Mrs. Taney Irby of Wichita, Kansas; four sons, Lloyd of Reuter, Ed, and Dee, of Garrison and Virgil of the home; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One son, Corporal Hilman Carl Hankins with the U.S. Army, preceded her in death.
