He married Mary Katherine Yowell on March 1,1950 in Hagerstown,MD. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife; his son, Harry E.Catlett,Jr. & his daughter, Vicki A. Catlett, all of Winchester,Va.; 4 brothers, Ralph L. Catlett of White Post,Va, William & Donald Catlett, both of Winchester, and James Catlett of Paw Paw,WV; 2 sisters, Bessie Delawder Pitcock of Stephens City, Va, and A. Kay Miller Cowgill of Paw Paw, WV; 4 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia May Catlett, and 2 brothers, Curtis Barria Catlett, & Richard Eugene (aka: Gene, Jerry) Catlett. Funeral was at Hebron Baptist Church in Gore,Va with the Rev. George Reed officiating. Burial is in Bethel Church Cemetery, Trone, Va (near Gore). Off Rt. 50 W onto Parishville Rd. - Hollow Rd. - Muse Rd.
Pallbearers were: George Jones, Vernon Kirby, Donald Catlett,Jr., Dick Sirbaugh, Gabe Kump, Terry Miller, Curtiss Miller, and Gary Brown.
