Rubidoux Family Member Succumbs
Mrs. Annie Rubidoux, 41, passed away early this morning at the family home, 798 Mt. Vernon avenue. She was the wife of a member of the pioneer Rubidoux family, a native of California and had lived in Colton for the last seventeen years. Mrs. Rubidoux had not been active in community affairs for some two years because of lingering illness.
The widower, William W. Rubidoux, is employed by the Santa Fe railway.
Five children survive, two sons, William and Cecil, and three daughters, Celeste, Audrey and Annabell.
Rosary will be said Monday night in the chapel of I. M. Knopsnyder & Son mortuary, and funeral rites will be conducted at the Sam Salvadore Catholic church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
Interment is to take place in Hermosa cemetery.
