A passing from this life has brought sorrow to this entire end of the county. Mildred Calebs was one of the loveliest personages and one of the most queenly women ever to live in this community, she was both kind and demure. The impression she made on all her associates was such as to bring credit and acclaim to American womanhood. Truly a great woman, wife, mother, and grandmother, and gentle lady, a friend to all with no exceptions. (Meade Co. Messenger)
