Dexter---L.D. Jarrell, 38, a farmer of Bloomfield who had been ill for some time, died Monday, February 1, 1965 in Jefferson Barracks Hospital in St. Louis where he had been for three years.

A life-long resident of Stoddard County and a veteran of the Korean War, he was born April 27, 1926. On June 16, 1954, he married Miss Wanda Layton, who survives.

Other survivors include six children, James Allen, Ellen Janette, Larry Dale, Clifton Ray, Linda Lou and Debbie Ann Jarrell, all of the home; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. D.L. Jarrell of Bloomfield; three brothers, Lee and Bill Jarrell of Bloomfield and Dwight Jarrell of Eminence; and six sisters, Mrs. Irene Spranger of Racine, Wisconsin, Mrs. Earnestine Ward of Lansing, Michigan, Mrs. Louise Losh of Eminence, Mrs. Myrtle Whitmeyer of Marcellus, Michigan, Mrs. Margie Black and Miss June Jarrell of Bloomfield.

The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Watkins and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Roy King conducting the services. Burial will be in the Hagy Cemetery, Dexter.
