Mr. Eddie C. Warnock, age 86, Tarrytown, died Sunday, August 22, 1999 in Vidalia after a long illness.

The lifelong resident of Montgomery County was a son of the late C. C. Warnock and the late Anna Ladson Warnock. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kibbee, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He had served on the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners and was a member of the Woodmen of the World. He was a retired farmer and a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Adams Warnock; one son and daughter-in-law, Kimball A. and Gail Warnock, Tarrytown; one sister, Claudia McDonald, Higgston; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, 1999 at 10:00 am in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Reverend Dale Fincher and the Reverend Pat Quattlebaum officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Dewey Warnock, Wayne Warnock, Don Warnock, Kim Warnock, Homer Rivers, and Ray Roberson. Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton was in charge of the arrangements.
