Mrs. Ladson was killed Saturday when she walked into the path of an automobile on the Quitman Highway. She had lived in Colquitt County since 1919, and was an active member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She was born July 24, 1860, in Montgomery County.
Surviving are a son Lonnie Ladson, Sr. of Route 5, four brothers, Ben Warnock, L.C. Warnock, J.W. Warnock and Eddie Warnock all of Tarrytown, Ga.; six sisters, Mrs. Emma F. Tedder of West Palm Beach, Mrs. Sallie Montford, Kibbee Ga., Mrs. Ida Newsom, Tarrytown Ga.; Mrs. Callie Conaway, Mrs. Elmer Spivey and Mrs. Lucy Hamilton, all of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Lonnie Lewis Ladson, Jr. and Donald Ladson, both of Moultrie, and Max Gene Ladson, Valdosta.
