"Paris--At her home, five and one-half miles east of Salem, Tuesday, May 29, 1917, Mrs. Melvint Paris, 54 years old.
The funeral will be held today at 1:30 o'clock from the Fruitland church. Rev. G.W. Plumer will conduct the services and burial will be in Lee Mission cemetery.
Besides her husband, John Paris, she leaves the following sons and daughters: Ernest Bennett, Salem; Edmund Bennett, Ogden, Utah; William S. Bennett, Boyne City, Mich; Mrs. Stephen Howard, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Elbert Howard, Load, Ky.; Mrs. O.W. Mills, Falls City; Mrs. S.C. Bultgen, Falls City; Mrs. Robert Bennett, Falls City, and Mrs. John Earle, Salem." OS May 31, 1917 5:6
