Nola Grace Storer, one of nine children of Jerry E. and Grace L. (Davidson) Beagley, was born on May 15, 1930 on the family farm near Freedom. She died on July 13, 1991 at Harper County Community Hospital at the age of 61 years, 1 month and 28 days. She will be long remembered as Harper County Deputy Treasurer. Nola married William Ralph Storer on February 21, 1953 in Alva. To this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Laura Bliss; and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Ralph, of the home; son, J. R. Storer of Selman; daughter, Jody Wiederstein of Higgins, Texas; five brothers, Alfred Beagley of Buffalo, Lloyd Beagley of Coldwater, Kansas, Jim Beagley of Freedom, Carl Beagley of Humboldt, Kansas and Bill Beagley of Ponca City; two sisters, Vera Schultz of Alva and Dixie Clemence of Waynoka; four grandsons; and other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Williams officiating. Burial was in High Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church Television Ministry.
