Eugene Luther Bailey, 84, Alabama Highway 251, Athens, died Wednesday, at his residence.
The funeral will be today at 3:30 p.m. at the Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Calvin Inman, George Bark and Tim Keenum officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Springs Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Bailey was a member of the Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Naola Blackburn Bailey; four daughters, June Daphney Jones, Amy Beth Pressnell, both of Toney, Joy Brewer and Holly Roberts, both of Athens; three sons, Jack B. Bailey of Danville, Hal E. Bailey and John Daniel Bailey, both of Athens; two sisters, Cora McCormack of Elkmont and Ruth Browning of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, James Floyd Bailey of Douglasville, GA; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
