Mr. Bryan, a native of Downsville, LA and a longtime resident of Shreveport, LA, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2001 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Springs of Grace Baptist Church and had retired as an electrician supervisor for Overton Brooks V.A. Hospital. Mr. Bryan was an instructor at LeTourneau Technical School in Longview, TX. He served as a Meteorologist in the air force and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Bryan was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia Bryan; two sons, Mickey Bryan and wife, Sandy and Kelly Bryan; four daughters, Jacque Giddings, Terri Stovall and husband, Buddy, Patti Wood and husband, Bart, and Pam Maxey and Jerry all of Shreveport, LA; two sisters, Nelda Jacobs and Cecile Brooks; three brothers, Earl F. Bryan, Holmes Bryan, and Reggie Bryan; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
