Grace May Davis died Tuesday of last week at her home near Omaha at the age of 36 years and 4 days. She was born on February 15, 1899 near Green Forest to William Lee and Nora Adeline (Tharp) Brawley. She married William Jay Davis on February 25, 1917. To them were born four children, three girls and one boy. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband; her daughters, Allene Rose and Mabel Irene Davis; her son, Windell Eugene Davis; her father; her brothers, Cecil Austin Brawley, Erton "Whitey" Brawley, Hugh Paul Brawley, James Jefferson Brawley, and William Dee Brawley; her half brothers, Charles Brawley, John Harris Brawley, Warren Brawley, and Wilbur Raney Brawley; her sister, Myrtle Jane O'Neal; her half sister, Juanita Brawley; and her granddaughter. The body was laid to rest in Yocum Cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
