Services for Mrs. Betty Lou Cox Layfield age 79 will be Monday (6/2/2008) 2:30 PM at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jim Nipper officiating.
Mrs. Layfield was a life long resident of Baldwin County. She was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Layfield and a member of Northridge Christian Church. For a number of years, she worked at the Credit Bureau of Milledgeville and was a Volunteer at Oconee Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her Daughter- Betsy Evans and husband Brian of Milledgeville; Two Grandchildren Chad Michael Phillips, Jr. and Chance Phillips both of Milledgeville; Nieces- Joni Smith, Janice Hutcheson, and Jackie Hutcheson; A number of other nieces and nephews also survive.
