FAIRFAX, Va. — Dellas Ray Chastain, 80, of Fairfax, Va., died May 4 at the Fairfax Nursing Center.
He had worked as a principal in the school systems in Indiana and Fairfax.
Survivors include his wife, Susanna Chastain; two daughters, Corliss Chastain of Hallowell, Maine, and Shannon Tully of Oak Hill, Va.; one son, Jeffry Chastain of Sterling, Va.; two brothers, Delmar Chastain of Bloomington and Lowell Chastain of Coal Valley, Ill.; and two sisters, Beverene Hutton of Newburg and Burdena Chastain of Bedford.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
